It is a nice tradition for us to be an official partner of a beautiful event that recognizes the hard and dedicated work of nurses who care for patients every day in surgeries, hospitals, medical and social facilities. This year's event, already the 8th, took place on 19 October under the auspices of the Minister of Health, the Governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region and the professional patronage of the President of the Czech Nurses Association.
Bc. Nikola Prošková, a midwife at the AGEL Hospital, Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department in Ostrava-Vítkovice, is this year's winner in the Nurse of the Public 2023 category. Her victory was decided by citizens in a public vote in a poll from a total of 15 finalists. According to the words of her proud employer, the director of AGEL Hospital Ostrava-Vítkovice, MUDr. Stanislav Jackanin, MBA, LL.M., Ms. Prošková is the heart of the entire department and he highly values her professionalism, experience and energy that she transmits to patients. According to the organizers, nearly 60 thousand votes were received this year.
We were honoured to support the event and our Sales Director of Leastex, a.s. and TSC Hospital, s.r.o., Bc. Vendula Špringerová was able to personally thank, congratulate and present Ms. Prošková with her well-deserved award.
